Music Ministry

The music ministry has two primary roles: Cantors and Choir members

Cantors lead the congregation by proclaiming the word of God through song.

Choir members add to the congregation by singing hymns in unison or in parts, now and then singing parts on their own.

We have both an Adult Choir and a Youth Choir.

Both roles, cantor or choir members, rehearse once a week in the church to deepen their understanding of music and prayer, but extra practice may be needed!

If you have a pleasant singing voice, you do not need to know how to read music, but it is definitely an asset.
