Community Bread

Community Bread is grass-roots service that helps to feed the hungry and the poor.

They serve an average of 100 meals every Monday night.

Each team of 10-12 volunteers prepares and serves a hot dinner to community members who may be food insecure or need some social contact.

Our current five teams rotate weekly,

and, on their scheduled night, will volunteer between the hours of 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm, depending on their personal schedules.

Team members truly appreciate the social benefits when working with their friends and sometimes family members too,

but more imortantly, they know they are making a difference.
