Counting Ministry

Counting Ministry

The Counting Ministry plays an important role in the life of our parish by ensuring that the gifts entrusted to St. John Chrysostom Parish through the Sunday collections are accurately counted and recorded. This ministry is a valuable act of stewardship that supports the many ministries, programs, and services offered by our parish community.

Are you comfortable working with numbers? Would you like to contribute your time and talents in a meaningful way behind the scenes?

Members of the Counting Ministry work as part of a team of six fellow parishioners to count and verify the weekly Sunday collections in a secure and confidential environment. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a spirit of service are important qualities for this ministry.

The time commitment is approximately three hours, once every five weeks, making it an excellent opportunity for those who would like to volunteer but have limited availability.

No experience is necessary—training will be provided.

If you are looking for a practical way to serve the parish and help support its mission, we invite you to consider joining the Counting Ministry. Your time and dedication make a real difference in the life of our parish community.
