Ministry of Hospitality

Ministry of Hospitality (Greeters and Ushers)

The Ministry of Hospitality is one of the most visible and welcoming ministries in our parish. Through their kindness, attentiveness, and spirit of service, Greeters and Ushers help create a warm and inviting environment where all feel welcomed and valued as members of the Body of Christ.

Ministers of Hospitality are often the first parishioners people encounter when they arrive for Mass. They greet worshippers, assist visitors and newcomers, help seat latecomers, collect the offertory collection, and guide the Communion procession in an orderly and reverent manner. They also provide assistance to those with special needs and are prepared to help in the event of an emergency by being familiar with the locations of exits, emergency supplies, and the parish defibrillator.

This ministry offers a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow parishioners, serve the community, and help ensure that everyone who comes to Mass experiences a welcoming and prayerful atmosphere.

No special experience is required—only a friendly smile, a willingness to help others, and a desire to serve. Training and support will be provided.

If you enjoy meeting people and would like to play an important role in making our parish a place of welcome, we warmly invite you to consider joining the Ministry of Hospitality. Your presence and service can make a meaningful difference in the experience of every person who enters our church.
