Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Serving as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion is a beautiful opportunity to assist in one of the most sacred moments of the Mass: the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ to the faithful. Through this ministry, parishioners help ensure that Holy Communion is distributed reverently and prayerfully, supporting the worship of our parish community.
We invite practicing Catholics who are living in accordance with the teachings of the Church and who have a deep love for the Holy Eucharist to consider this rewarding ministry. Extraordinary Ministers are called to serve with humility, reverence, and devotion, reflecting the sacredness of the Eucharist through their demeanor, attire, and manner of service.
Ministers serve on a rotating schedule for weekend Masses. The larger our team of volunteers, the less frequently each minister is scheduled, making this ministry manageable even for those with busy schedules.
Training and guidance will be provided, and additional formation opportunities are available through the Archdiocese for those who wish to deepen their understanding of this important ministry.
If you feel called to serve Christ and your parish community in this special way, we warmly invite you to join the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Ministry.
